Your Responsibilities as Senior Industrial Mechanic:
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and optimize maintenance processes.
- Ensure communication with the team members for planning and organizing tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the production department to anticipate maintenance needs and ensure production continuity.
- Ensure the use of safe working methods and promote a safety culture.
- Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the appropriate procedures.
- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery using manual and electric tools.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Assemble machinery and equipment using manual and electric tools and welding equipment.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
The ideal candidate has:
- Ten (10) years of experience in industrial mechanics or a similar role.
- Ability to communicate fluently in French and read English.
- Vocational diploma or college degree in Industrial Mechanics or Maintenance Mechanic, or other relevant experience.
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvement solutions.
- Ability to motivate a team and demonstrate leadership.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards.
- Proficiency in basic computer tools and internal systems.
